About this qr code generator

Create a static QR code from text or a URL and download a PNG. Choose a fixed image size or Automatic for longer content.

How this tool works

Encodes the exact input as a static QR symbol with error correction level M. Each PNG includes a four-module white margin. Fixed sizes are 200, 240, 320 and 480 pixels square; Automatic uses four pixels per module and adjusts the image to the symbol.

  1. Enter https://czoa.com in “Text or URL”.
  2. Select 240 × 240 under “Image size”.
  3. Download PNG and decode the file independently; the result must be exactly https://czoa.com.

Worked example

Scenario: Create and independently read a QR image for the CZOA home URL.

Sample input:

https://czoa.com

Processing: Encodes the exact input as a static QR symbol with error correction level M. Each PNG includes a four-module white margin. Fixed sizes are 200, 240, 320 and 480 pixels square; Automatic uses four pixels per module and adjusts the image to the symbol. Select 240 × 240 under “Image size”.

Illustrative output:

A 240 × 240 PNG that decodes to exactly https://czoa.com.

Limits and verification

Empty input removes the image. Invalid Unicode and content beyond QR capacity are rejected. A fixed size must provide at least four pixels per module; otherwise choose Automatic or a larger size. Only PNG is exported. The tool does not open URLs or check their safety, and successful decoding does not guarantee every camera will scan a resized or printed copy.

Examples demonstrate an expected workflow; they do not prove every input or every branch of an external specification. Check important results with an independent source before using them for money, security, compliance, safety, or irreversible file changes.

Browser processing boundary

Tool input is processed by code running in the browser and is not intentionally sent to a CZOA processing API. The page can still request ordinary site assets, analytics, or advertising when those services are enabled. Browser extensions and managed-device software remain outside this tool's control.

Frequently asked questions

What data and image formats does this QR generator support?+

The input is plain text, including a URL or an already prepared text payload. The tool encodes that text as a static QR symbol at error correction level M and downloads a PNG. It does not export SVG or provide separate Wi-Fi or contact-card forms.

How do fixed sizes and Automatic differ?+

Fixed modes produce a square PNG at 200, 240, 320 or 480 pixels. Each needs at least four pixels per module, including the four-module margin on every side. Automatic sizes the image from its symbol at four pixels per module, so longer content can produce a larger PNG.

How can I verify the downloaded example?+

Enter https://czoa.com, select 240 × 240 and download czoa-qr-code.png. Check that the real file is a 240 × 240 PNG and use an independent reader to recover exactly https://czoa.com. Different valid QR masks may look different while encoding the same text.

What happens to invalid input, and are encoded links checked?+

Empty input clears the image. Unpaired Unicode surrogates, excessive content and fixed sizes too small for the symbol produce errors without a download. URLs are encoded as text and are not opened or checked for safety. Tool input stays in local processing; normal page resources and optional site services remain separate.
