Limits and verification
Rejects timestamps resulting in dates before the year 0001 or after the year 9999. UUID parsing strictly requires 32 hexadecimal digits separated by standard 8-4-4-4-12 hyphens. Non-ASCII characters in HTML entity decoders are checked against the WHATWG Named Character Reference standard.

Browser processing boundary
Tool input is processed by code running in the browser and is not intentionally sent to a CZOA processing API. How does Hex Dump Viewer turn text into rows?+
It UTF-8 encodes the JavaScript string with TextEncoder and emits one line per byte: eight-digit lowercase hexadecimal offset, two spaces, then a two-digit lowercase byte.
How is a non-ASCII character represented?+
For `Aé`, the UTF-8 bytes are `41`, `c3`, and `a9` at offsets 0, 1, and 2. The accented character occupies two bytes, so this is a byte dump rather than a Unicode-code-point listing.
Which dump features are absent?+
There are no width controls, ASCII side column, binary file reader, address base option, byte grouping, or reverse parser. It only dumps entered text encoded as UTF-8.
Does Hex Dump Viewer read files or upload entered text?+
No. It UTF-8 encodes the entered JavaScript string with TextEncoder and renders the rows locally. It has no file reader, upload control, or reverse parser, and normal page resources do not receive the entered dump text.
